At AmalCare eG, we provide you with a personal contact person who knows your home country very well, usually from their own migration experience, and who will accompany you during the initial period. We will pick you up from the airport, accompany you to your apartment, take care of your first purchases and all matters relating to registration with the residents' registration office, health insurance, etc. We will go to the bank with you and help you to open an account. You will also receive a SIM card of your choice to get you started.
Your future employer will also be on hand to answer any questions and provide any support you need.
Even if you are homesick, we will be there for you and help you to establish social contacts and make new friends in Germany.
We try to take your needs into account during the selection process. However, please bear in mind that life in Germany and Morocco is very different in some respects. For example, small towns and rural regions also have many advantages that you will gradually come to appreciate.
Once you have received the B1 certificate, you can apply for the visa, provided that all other necessary documents are available and translated if necessary. We will help you prepare everything.
We will ensure that your visa is issued quickly and carry out the accelerated skilled worker procedure in accordance with Section 81a AufenthG. If all documents are complete, the visa will be issued within 3 weeks of the embassy appointment.
If there are any queries about your documents at the embassy, we will also support you.
Your future employer will take care of your first apartment for you. This apartment is usually rented to you on a temporary basis. The rent and ancillary costs will either be deducted from your salary or you will receive a separate tenancy agreement.
Once you have settled in, we will help you find an apartment on the housing market and give you tips.
This depends on your previous language skills. We support you from getting to know Morocco and learning the language, through the recognition procedure and in your search for a suitable employer.
Your task is to invest time and motivation. This includes helping to provide documents and papers and investing time in your language training. Expect to spend at least 15 hours a week on this. About 12 months after starting, you can usually make your way to Germany.
If we accept you into our program, you will receive a scholarship from us that includes your language training up to B2 and a nursing simulation course. Our support with the visa process, the application process and entry into Germany are included in this scholarship. AmalCare eG will pay for your flight to Germany.

After examining the training, the respective authority in Germany determines either an equivalence or a deficit between the training in Morocco and the training in Germany according to the Nursing Professions Act. In the case of a deficit, this can be compensated for by taking a knowledge test or an adaptation course.
At AmalCare, we support the knowledge test model. However, it is the future employer who ultimately decides which model is used.
We will support you to ensure that this does not happen. If this does happen, your employer can continue to employ you as a care assistant if they have the capacity to do so. Alternatively, you could start a new nursing training course in Germany.
Salaries can vary depending on the federal state. Until your degree is recognized in Germany, you will be employed as a nursing assistant. After that, you will receive a contract as a nursing specialist. Many employers now pay according to a collective agreement. As a specialist, you will be classified in group EP 8, as a care assistant in group EP 4 or EP 5.
You usually attend classes on three to four days for approx. 3 teaching units per day. A test takes place at the end of the modules.
