Attracting nursing staff from abroad
The shortage of skilled workers has long been a reality - and traditional recruitment channels often lead to short-term, unstable solutions. This is precisely where AmalCare eG comes in.
We bring trained nurses from Morocco to Germany - in a structured, accompanied way and with clear quality standards. Our nurses undergo a year of linguistic and professional preparation, are familiar with German nursing standards - and come with the aim of arriving and staying.
Our nursing staff have completed training or studies in the care sector in Morocco - many of them with practical work experience.
Before they come to Germany, they complete an intensive one-year program:
- At our own language school in Rabat, they learn German - specifically for nursing, with specialist vocabulary, communication training and simulations of typical work situations.
- At the same time, we teach them the basics of nursing according to German standards: catheter care, hygiene guidelines, wound care, documentation and the use of nursing aids.
- Topics such as teamwork, everyday structure, cultural differences and job interviews are also practiced.
In this way, we ensure that the nursing staff return to Germany not only linguistically confident, but also professionally prepared and mentally strengthened.
AmalCare takes care of the entire placement process: from the selection of suitable candidates to language and subject preparation, recognition and visas through to arrival in Germany.
